The Portal

At one end, a tented bedroom that can be fully enclosed when privacy is desired. At the centre, a large recycled Kauri dining table built for shared platters and long conversations. A velvet sofa that seems to absorb stories. A record player with curated vinyl. A mid-century inspired reading nook.

The assembly
Grounded, quiet, reflective.

I’ve spent years inside retreat culture from every angle: as a coach, facilitator, guest, builder, and the woman in the back row who can feel when something is real and when it’s just performance.
HI ESTATE is the space I wished existed, both for the people holding the room and the people coming to be changed by it.
This land is not owned in the way modern culture likes to pretend. It is stewarded.
We treat it with reverence, responsibility, and a clear intention: to build a beacon for the kind of connection this world is starving for.
